Two years after the Japanese mission, Bond is sent to track down Ernst Stavro Blofeld. On the way he gets involved with Tracy, a beautiful but disturbed woman. It is through her and her crime boss father, Marc-Ange Draco that he will pick up the trail of the evil SPECTRE organization. This time their diabolical scheme is to wipe out the world's food supply. Ski chases, car rallies and an avalanche help bring this movie to an explosive climax and a chilling finale that will haunt Bond forever.

George Lazenby enters the Bond arena with the second best OO7 caper in the series. This will mark the last time that the film will closely resemble Fleming’s novel. Diana Rigg, Telly Savalas and Gabrielle Ferzetti give fine performances in a film that deserves better press than it initially received. Highlights include the ski chases and the helicopter assault on Blofeld’s mountain hideout.

Most Memorable Dialogue:

During the second ski chase, Bond and Tracy leap over a snow covered road which is being cleared by a large snow blowing machine. One of Blofeld's men tries to leap over the snow blower as well but with little success. He is quickly chewed up and his bloody remains are blown all over the pure white landscape.
