Welcome to the novels of OO7.  It is here that I would like to show you some of the artwork that graced the book covers and a synopsis of each literary classic.  Each novel will be broken down into categories.  Starting with the Year it was written.  Following with the Tease which was usually found on the first page of the book after the cover.  This is the part that entices the customer to buy the novel.

The Villain is described next as well as the Bond-Girl, Minor Characters, Plot and Highlights of the novel.  Unlike other OO7 websites, I have added a section that shows the Opening Sentence in the novel.  I feel this is an important point since most famous novels have well known opening sentences - i.e. "It was the best of times, it was the worse of times." - A Tale of Two Cities.  You will notice how Ian Fleming most of the time would begin his novels with a description of a casino or an animal.  Kingsley Amis began his with Bond enjoying the 'tranquil normality' of the golf course he was playing on and Raymond Benson, the current author, began his first novel in Jamaica - where Fleming lived - and referencing the words The Undertaker's Wind which can be found in Live and Let Die or Doctor No.

Next, I will point out some Trivia that surrounded the novel.  This could be anything from what the original title started out as, to the names of characters and how they changed.  Lastly, I offer my Personal Comment About the Novel.  Simply put, did I like it or not.

I would like to personally thank Red Grant of The Art of James Bond for the paperback artwork and for Raymond Benson's The James Bond Bedside Companion which helped in researching some 'hard-to-find' information on the novels.

Now without anymore delay, let us begin with . . .
